This was the first time in the Bahamas and the first full day! We were able to hop on a boat and go out into the incredible blue waters of Spanish Cay, an island in the Bahamas. Shanna missed her first lobster but redeemed herself when she got one after it swam away twice, it was about an 8in tail. Shawn was able to get two lobster on board. One being about 6in and just made the cut, the second was about 7in and also just made the cut. Spearing Lobster was probably the most fun I’ve ever had in the ocean. We all need to work on our free diving skills but seeing as 3 months ago most Shanna and Karmen had never done it, I’d say we aren’t too shabby lol.

Not sure if you caught it in the video but Shawn also missed his first Hog Fish and could not forget it. He still talks about it to this day lol. Redemption is right around the corner as we head to The Bahamas again today.

Our buddy Captain Chris came over after a long day of being on the water and made dinner for us with his family. By the time we were sitting down to eat half the island was in the house. It was seriously the coolest thing ever. The whole island is like family which is probably our favorite part about it next to the clear blue waters.
